What will you do?

Assist Program Administrator in the Deputy Director's office & work with assets, document imaging, procurement service, & state printing & facilitates distribution of documents, photocopying, scanning, retrieving materials from other offices & delivering messages between members; assists in inventory control & enters data into appropriate software programs; reviews inventory online for comparison with counts & advises supervisor of discrepancies; provides offices with basic administrative assistance regarding data entry, purchasing & assets; maintains paper file system (purges old documents, files new documents); reviews current office processes & offers suggestions to increase efficiency of processes; analyzes & evaluates programs procedures & policies; conducts research & applies critical thinking to resolve identified issues; creates & maintain training & guidance resources; researches & responds to inquires & complaints, collects, organizes & analyzes data & identifies trends; provides suggestions on program or process improvements; assists with temporary office coverage by handling telephone calls, delivering mail, emails & messages as requested; provides physical assistance in relocation of office equipment & furniture; performs clerical support functions in record keeping (e.g., organizes materials, complies data, prepares reports, & run reports). Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree program related to Business, Public Administration or Communications
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
  • Experience with collecting & analyzing data is a plus
