What will you do?

You will be helping the QA team test software to ensure high quality solutions are being delivered. You will participate in the development and execution of test cases, test scripts and test data.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Actively participate in the review of business requirements for software development.
  • Create test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts mapped to requirements.
  • Conduct testing using manual and/or automated test processes.
  • Execute test scripts, communicate and record results.
  • Update test cases based upon approved change requests.
  • Work with Business Process Analysts and Development teams on defect analysis and triage.
  • Work under significant supervision of a QA Manager or QA Analyst Lead.
  • Attend meetings & takes notes when manager is not available; performs other duties as assigned within scope of internship.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university

  • Strong technical knowledge with a good understanding of software development principles (e.g., object-oriented programming), QA Framework/Basic Test Methodology and project lifecycles (e.g., SDLC)
