Commercial Lines Account Manager Requirements:
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager
  • Experience managing accounts with $100k+ premiums
  • Active Property and Casualty (P&C) License
  • Proficiency in managing commercial insurance lines such as D&O, E&O, workers' compensation, and general liability
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in or willingness to learn Epic software
  • Experience with Epic insurance software is preferred
  • Bachelor s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred
  • Supervisory experience or a leadership mindset is a plus

Commercial Lines Account Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of 300-400 commercial accounts with premium levels exceeding $100k
  • Handle diverse accounts, including general liability, workers' compensation, medical malpractice, and more
  • Collaborate with producers and commercial lines assistants to ensure client needs are met
  • Maintain client relationships and provide timely responses to inquiries via phone and email
  • Work closely with carriers to negotiate policies and coverage for clients
  • Ensure all documentation, certificates, and endorsements are handled accurately
  • Cross-sell insurance products when applicable
