Responsibilities

• Perform general carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks
• Install, repair, and maintain commercial fixtures and equipment
• Conduct inspections and identify maintenance needs
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with commercial systems and equipment
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations during all tasks
• Write, present, and sell your own estimates

Requirements

• Proven experience as a handyman in a commercial setting
• Strong understanding of various construction tools and equipment
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Valid driver's license
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
• Live within Northern Virginia area (preferably within our service territory)

Salary: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour

Service Area: Northern Virginia

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday (1 Saturday a month)

Experience:

• 10 years in Construction (Required)
• 15+ years in Construction (Preferred)

Language: Fluent English (Required)
