This position can be based remotely, anywhere in the United States.

Role Purpose

This position assists in the deployment of Worley's Americas communications strategies to inform and engage key audiences in our Americas regional business. The America's business extends across North America and Latin America.
Reporting directly to the Communications Director - Americas, Technology Solutions, Worley, the candidate will develop communications that support Worley's business initiatives, engage the company's people and enhance its reputation.

The scope of activity includes: writing; development of communications materials; technology support; and measurement. The successful candidate must demonstrate credibility, attention to detail, trustworthiness and tact.

Key internal stakeholders for this position are: Communications Director - Americas, regional leaders; function leaders; and the broader network of indirect communications champions.

The candidate must exercise considerable discretion about information communicated and handle serious and sensitive subjects with tact, excellent judgment, and confidentiality.

This role will contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Support the implementation of corporate communications strategies that serve to support Worley's Americas regional business agenda.
  • Develop and create key communications and other materials that help to embed and reinforce Worley's culture and strategy.
  • Create employee communications that help build alignment and consistency of voice within Worley's Americas regional businesses - North America, Canada, and Latin America.
  • Actively build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders to identify communication opportunities and foster collaboration and mutual support across Worley.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations, or Journalism
  • 2 years of related experience working with a large, global organization in corporate communications, with an emphasis on communications
  • Outstanding writing and presentation skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to effectively work across multiple organizational boundaries, and communicate across a culturally diverse audience
  • Professional presence, business diplomacy skills and strong relationship-building skills
  • Cultural flexibility and understanding
  • Strong planning and organization skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Highly motivated, goal and results oriented, ability to respond quickly and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Office 365
