Constituent Management Specialist

The University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc (UTFI) invites applications and nominations to fill the position of Constituent Management Specialist for Advancement Services. Reporting to the Director of Constituent Management, this role is responsible for daily updating, research, and maintenance of records for the University of Tennessee. Duties include, but are not limited to, record creation, research, and maintenance of existing records. Utilizing ACE (Salesforce Ascend), the Specialist I enter and maintains confidential financial, biographic, and demographic information regarding alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations who are key prospects or donors to the university.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Record Maintenance: Create new donor records and update existing donor records to include names, contact information, constituencies, contact preferences, and other relevant data; Including mailings, activities, affiliations, etc. Provide professional and timely customer service including follow-up telephone calls and/or emails upon request completion.

This role will be part-time, averaging up to 25 hours per week and is not benefit eligible.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

The candidate who fills the Constituent Management Specialist position is required to have:

  • High school degree or equivalent


  • Data entry experience


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel


Preferred Education and Experience

In addition to meeting the required qualifications, the preferred candidate will have:

  • Vocational diploma or certificate in Business or Accounting


  • Basic accounting knowledge; experience with Adobe


  • Experience working with confidential and/or financial data
