AECOM/Hunt has an immediate opportunity for a Commercial Construction Project Manager for our construction project in Long Island City, NY.

Job Description
AECOM/Hunt has an immediate opportunity for a Commercial Construction Project Manager for our construction project in Long Island City, NY.
- Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
- Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
- Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
- Responsible for administering the project from the pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage through procurement, shop drawing/coordination development, construction, space turnover and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.
Minimum Requirement:
BA/ BS = 8 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirement:
- BA/BS and 8 years of relevant construction project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Requirements:
- BS Construction Management, Engineering or similar curriculum.
- 8 years of commercial construction project management.
- Demonstrated experience in oversight of construction projects and management of subcontracted labor.
- Experience with construction documentation, such as RFP's, contracts, change orders, etc.
- OSHA 30
- Ability to interact and act as GC liaison with client(s).
- Experience in ground-up construction thru punch-list and completion of a commercial construction project.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word).

- This duration of this position will be 12 months.
