Purpose:
Solve issues, create value, maximize growth and improve the business performance of the organization through the proposal development process that helps stakeholders acquire new business and retain existing clients. Utilize business skills to provide objective advice, expertise and specialist skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing RFPs to determine how best to promote the products and services for the various lines of business and presenting findings and recommendations to appropriate stakeholders
  • Managing and/or conducting supervisory reviews on proposal development projects and programs to facilitate client retention and client acquisition
  • Incorporating insurance recommendations/solutions and strategies in proposal development projects and ensuring lines of businesses receive the necessary assistance to acquire new business and retain existing clients
  • Identifying issues that may have a negative impact on vendor selection process and forming hypotheses and solutions on how to strategically position the organization to show the line of business competitive advantage
  • Leading and managing those within the team, including proposal managers, editors and graphics designers who are assigned to projects
  • Liaising with SMEs within the organization to get information to be included in proposal development projects while keeping stakeholders informed of progress and to make relevant decisions


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 15 years of Health Insurance Experience Required
  • Government and Commercial (Medicaide, Chipp, Medicare and LTSS) Proposal experience.
