Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Solution Specialist in Houston, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, by driving the design and development. Drive various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

• Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues utilizing analytical tools including Splunk and Dynatrace, for performance analysis, memory utilization, and computation time;
• Utilizing SonarQube, MySQL Workbench, Postgre SQL, and DBeaver to design and develop data conversion strategies, as well as facilitate mapping and performing data cleansing, data conversions, interface design, interface development, and cleansing workshops;
• Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, and data models, utilizing Integrated Development Environment (IDE's) IntelliJ and Eclipse, for completing tasks assigned in every Sprint based on Agile Methodology;
• Designing and deploying end-to-end cloud infrastructure using AWS services deployment via Elastic Beanstalk, launching applications on Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2), using Lambda, and Simple Storage Solution (S3);
• Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, and designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing Cloud technology solutions using AWS cloud services;
• Performing root cause analysis using AppDynamics and Dynatrace and documenting results in Jira and in Confluence pages;
• Performing application and data migration by architecting frameworks for standardization automation using IntelliJ and Sonarqube; and
• Deploying custom developed application, including process design, prototyping, code development and review, unit testing, performance testing using Jmeter, configuration, defect management, production deployment and training, utilizing Jenkins and Jira.
