Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Specialist in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Develop Cloud-based software and technology solutions, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Recommend, design, and implement Cloud Computing, IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), Managed Cloud, Server Virtualization, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Desktop as a Service (DaaS) solutions. Participate in various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Help facilitate continuous business improvement by planning and monitoring solution enhancements, upgrades, support packs, and scheduled functional releases. Help coordinate and manage test strategies, user behavior analysis, metrics and reporting.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:
  • Performing data cleansing, data conversions, interface design, interface development, and systems development utilizing tools like SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), RStudio, QlikView, QlikSense, SAS, and Tableau;
  • Researching user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams, utilizing GIT, Visual Studio Code, Splunk, App Dynamics, Bitbucket, SonarQube, REST API, and Cloudtrail;
  • Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, utilizing Visual Paradigm, Microsofts (MS) Office Suite MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Sharepoint, MS Project and MS Visio;
  • Automating development and deployment tasks using GIT, Bitbucket, Docker, Kubernetes, Release Orchestrator, AWS Code Pipleline, Jenkins, and JFrog;
  • Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall project delivery life cycle for the design, development, and implementation of software application across AWS, On premise, and private cloud platform;
  • Using Cloud Platform knowledge of various AWS Compute, Networking & Content Delievery, Security, Identity & Complaince, Management & Governance, Storage and Database services for the design and development of cloud solutions, and in the performance of project-related responsibilities;
  • Assisting teams in deployment to environments, including development, testing, and production on AWS, On premise, Private cloud platform using tools Bitbucket, Jenkins, Release Orchestrator in environments like Dev, Test, user Acceptance Testing (UAT), Performance and Production;
  • Working with a team of developers to both produce new components and resolve defects through a standard defect resolution process, utilizing tools like Jira, Rational Tools, ServiceNow, HP ALM, Cloud Watch and MS Office Suite.
