Role Summary:

The Technical Specialist - Safety will lead a number of key initiatives as part of the quality department at Electrify America. The role will report to the Manager, Quality System & Safety and will oversee all program safety administration tasks for the company including data management, data reporting and analysis, process improvements, and overall safety practices.

Responsibilities of the position will include key support to the safety team in managing multiple high-priority tasks related to vehicle integrity. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and business acumen who is highly motivated to participate in a rapidly emerging and industry.

Role Responsibilities:

Main responsibility - assign 80% of time spent
  • Assisting the safety team with reporting and managing data and information, KPI reporting, trend analysis
  • Assist the project managers with any presentations including charts, tables creations
  • Assist the project managers with drafting, development and process management
  • Performs technical and administrative duties in general safety

Additional responsibilities - 20% of time
  • Support invoice receiving and payment processes for services.
  • Support development and maintain safety processes and procedures.


Years of Relevant Experience:
  • 5-7 years

Education (Required):
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Discipline such as engineering/Safety

Education (Desired):
  • Advanced Degree

Specialized Skills (Required):
  • Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or
  • similar industry.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Proven experience in data management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safety processes and safety program documentation.
  • Significant experience creating reports and presentations summarizing technical content
  • Financial/Technical reporting knowledge and experience including excellent MS Excel Capabilities.
  • General knowledge and demonstrated work experience with financial documentation including quotes, invoices, purchase requisitions, purchase orders.
  • Experience supporting the management of vendors and subcontractors.

Specialized Skills (Desired):
  • High-tech industry experience
  • Salesforce/Jira/Confluence knowledge
  • ASSP

Work Flexibility:
  • Hybrid work, 5-10%
