Our client, a leading technology services provider, is seeking an experienced Controller to help support the company's very rapid growth. The ideal candidate will be excited to work to in a fast-paced environment and possess strong communication skills. In this role, you will be working both independently and collaboratively across multifunctional teams.

Controller Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for establishing and executing a comprehensive system of internal financial controls to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results. This includes establishing and administering key accounting and operational policies and procedures
  • Coordinate annual audit
  • Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities and capital; prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for management
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and documenting business transactions and related account reconciliations
  • Provide FP&A finance support to the accounting team related to productivity, demand planning, reporting and metrics in a timely manner
  • Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions
  • Partner directly with the finance team and central FP&A groups to collaborate on metrics, goals and business reviews
  • Install, modify, document and coordinate implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures; devise and implement systems for general accounting
  • Collect appropriate data and federal, state and local reports and tax returns

Controller Requirements:
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or similar work environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA required)
  • Big Four or public accounting preferred
  • Ability to work with all personnel within the organization and facilitate communication effectively, and work in fast paced/changing environment
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to apply modeling to tasks such as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling, theory and factor analysis
