Hiring now for a Controls Engineer - SCADA, Factory Talk and related electrical and industrial plant control systems. Direct Hire Job with a Stable Family Owned Manufacturing Company

We are recruiting for a Controls Engineer in Southeastern VA to support production plants for one of our best manufacturing clients. Our client is a stable, family owned business that has been reinvesting capital back in to their operations.

The Controls Engineer will work closely with operations to understand plant improvement needs, support capital projects or provide troubleshooting support to the controls engineers or technicians inside of the plant.

Ideal Background and Experience:

• Must have SCADA experience
• 3+ years of Industrial Plant / Manufacturing experience
• Solid understanding of plant schematics and CAD programs
• Candidates may have a BS in engineering, technology or equivalent industry experience
• Excellent Project Management skills
• Ability and willingness to troubleshoot, work as a team, create solutions and solve problems.
• Highly organized, team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
