Job Description
1. Initiate regular supervisory meetings with Clerkship team
2. Verify Clerkship coverage for all units, serving as stand in as needed
3. Verify that team staff complete required trainings and indicated meetings
4. Understand work flow & unit schedules
5. Assist in the preparation of departmental schedules including managing Psychiatry Conference Room calendars
6. Work with Clerkship team to maintain legal status and associated patient files
7. Manage inventory of office supplies and clear organization of respective supply closets
8. Manage inventory of indicated medical supplies, (i.e. ECT supplies).
9. Assist with orienting new hires to person office space& designated unit areas
10. Work with IT to efficiently respond to any technical glitches for incoming staff
11. Participation in regular multidisciplinary meetings
12. Attendance in project specific meetings
13. Display caring actions, even in stressful situation, when communicating with patients, visitors and unit staff
14. Contribute to the success of organization and patient centered service/employee relations, keeping current on new developments
15. Provide administrative supportive coverage to consult services
16. Provide/Oversee back up coverage, as needed, for patient bedside court hearings

Minimum Qualifications
1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counseling, and three (3) years of full-time experience in medically-oriented health care and medical support systems environment, two (2) years of which included experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity in such occupations as physical, occupational, inhalation, speech and audiology therapy or as Medical/Laboratory Technologist, Microbiologist (various specialties), Chemist (biochemist), Radiation and X-Ray Technician or three (3) years of responsible level experience in business management systems or general administration including two (2) years in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
2. A Masters Degree from an accredited college or university in the disciplines listed in (1), and two (2) years of full-time experience as listed in (1), plus one (1) year experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity in occupations as listed in (1); or,
3. A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
