COTA Assistant II- Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia

Provide therapy treatment planning, interventions, and discharge planning, for a full patient caseload in acute care, acute rehab, skilled facility, outpatient settings as appropriate. Demonstrates appropriate communication, professionalism and supervision of support staff (staff assistants, aides, volunteers) and complies with all hospital and network policies. Participates in student education. Participates in orientation and preceptorship of new/rotating staff. Education, teaching and professional activities commensurate with position. Supports department, per manager or supervisor, with ongoing departmental responsibilites.

Qualifications

Education: Associates Degree from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Licensures and Certifications: Valid certification from the National Board of Certification of Occupational Therapy. Must have BLS, CPR certification.

Conditions of Employment
