Georgia Pacific is seeking a Consumer Satisfaction Representative for our retail CPG brands to foster a community of loyal customers and enhance the customer experience.

The Consumer Satisfaction Representative performs a variety of consumer-facing responsibilities primarily focusing on various social platforms, chat, email, and general support. This role is highly collaborative and offers the opportunity to learn and develop skills in a variety of areas along the consumer journey. You will be responsible for delivering a positive consumer experience at every touchpoint, reinforcing why GP and our brands are differentiated by understanding and addressing customer issues/complaints, and escalating for resolution if needed. This role will sit in our Atlanta offices.

What You Will Do

Provide excellent customer service by demonstrating the following actions:
  • respond to all customer inquiries through phone, voicemail, email, letter, social media, ratings & reviews
  • resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining root cause of the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
  • build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • communicating and responding to inquiries and posts from customers over multiple platforms
  • apply economic and critical thinking skills on a daily basis


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • A minimum of 3 years of customer service experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Willing to travel up to 10% for business related meetings


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree - preferably in a business-related field
  • Experience with salesforce® or a similar CRM
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience working at a consumer products company
