Cyber School Institutional Training Developer

Position: Cyber School Institutional Training Developer ​ Location: Fort Eisenhower, Georgia ​ Type: Full-time

Job Description: The Cyber School Institutional Training Developer will be responsible for providing training development support for the Cyber School at the Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) in Fort Eisenhower, Georgia. ​ The role will involve creating, modifying, and revising course materials associated with current and future training development requirements. ​ The Institutional Training Developer will work closely with the Cyber School to develop training support documents, Lessons Plans, Individual Student Assessment Plans (ISAP), supporting documents for Course Administrative Document (CAD) and Program of Instruction (POI), Practical Exercises, Test Material, and Master Training Schedules (MTS). ​ The role will also involve providing general training development support for the Cyber School. ​

Responsibilities:
  • Develop training and training products IAW the Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) process, Army Learning Model (ALM) Principles, and all applicable regulations and SOPs (i.e., TRADOC REG 350-70 and all appendixes).
  • Create and revise training support documents, Lessons Plans, Individual Student Assessment Plans (ISAP), supporting documents for Course Administrative Document (CAD) and Program of Instruction (POI), Practical Exercises, and Test Material. ​
  • Develop and maintain Master Training Schedules (MTS) for the Cyber School.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructors to ensure training materials meet the needs of the Cyber School. ​
  • Assist the Government with course validations by monitoring and gathering information using Course Validation Plan in accordance with TRADOC Regulations and the Cyber School SOP.
  • Assist the Government with organizing and/or participating in execution of Critical Task/Topics and Site Selection Boards (CTSSB).
  • Participate in special projects such as pilot programs, functional process improvement teams, quality teams, and working groups.
  • Conduct "Classroom Observations" and provide results to the COR and TD Chief.
  • Adhere to all applicable regulations and SOPs, including TRADOC REG 350-70 and TRADOC PAM 350-70-1. ​

Qualifications:
  • U.S. citizenship is required. ​
  • Interim or fully adjudicated Top Secret (TS) Security clearance with Special Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility is required. ​
  • Experience in training development, preferably in the field of cybersecurity or related areas. ​
  • Possess demonstrated experience with a wide range of training methods, techniques, and tools, to include knowledge of educational developments in the field, to design and develop training courses and materials, evaluate training programs, and/or complete various special projects. This knowledge is also required to adjust or develop new methods, establish and/or apply evaluation criteria, and resolve a variety of problems.
  • One (1) year experience working in automated training development databases such as: Training Development Capability (TDC).
  • Two (2) years experience developing and designing full-length skill-based instructional training material, and experience writing lesson plans using the Adult Learning Model/Experiential Learning Model, or five (5) years of military experience in the areas of communications and information technology systems, current and emerging force structure, information assurance, Homeland Defense, NETOPS (ESM/NM, IA/CNS, IDM/CS), digital Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) systems, and unified land operations, to include offense, defense, and stability operations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Possess knowledge and skills of the Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) process.
  • Graduated the Common Faculty Development-Developers Course (CFD-DC), Training Development Capability (TDC) Course, or meet the requirements to attend required training within 60 days of contract start date or course earliest availability date.
