Position Summary

The Division of Nephrology is actively seeking a skilled data analyst to contribute to the Columbia University Renal Epidemiology (CURE) group by providing analytical and project support.

Responsibilities
  • Offer statistical support for the Renal Transplant Outcomes Initiative.
  • Design, develop, and manage large-scale, big data-driven models.
  • Document, implement, and maintain operational methods for processing, distributing, and reporting on data flow and collection.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate complex concepts and analysis results.
  • Contribute to the writing and preparation of grant applications, including organizing pilot data.
  • Participate in the preparation of manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications, including the creation of figures and tables.
  • Assist with data quality-related activities as needed.
  • Regularly attend all required team meetings.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more of the following analytic languages: Stata (preferred), SAS, and/or R.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master'sdegree in epidemiology, biostatistics or a relevant field of study.

Other Requirements
  • Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
