ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts
- Define and track performance metrics for the data analytics team
- Set clear, workload-aligned goals and expectations for the team
- Oversee the development of analytical models and dashboards to support data driven decision making
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholder teams
- Communicate complex data concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, goals, and deliverables
- Develop and implement data strategies that align with operational and business objectives
- Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques, interpret trends and/or patterns, and provide meaningful/actionable insights to stakeholders regarding various KPIs
- Present deliverables of quantitative and qualitative research to internal stakeholders and external clients
- Engage with various partners consistently while establishing credibility by ensuring the data team produces accurate and quality deliverables on time
- Complete other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Senior Data Analyst leading complex multi-phase projects
- Prior leadership and management experience, preferably in a tech-driven department is required
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Kanban, Scrum, and Six Sigma is a plus
- Experience utilizing a business intelligence visualization tool is required, Power BI strongly preferred
- Education or experience in Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management is required
- Occasional overnight travel will be required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Strong ability to lead and manage a mid-size analytics team
- Strong business acumen with the ability to turn raw data into actionable insights using tools such as Power BI, Python, Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Data Warehouse
- Passionate about data accuracy, integrity, and the benefits of actionable data
- Ability to progressively obtain organizational acumen to understand the company's structure, culture, and strategic goals
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail with the capability of prioritizing and handling numerous tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong self-management and leadership skills demonstrated through successful project management and team collaboration
- Skilled in influencing and networking to assist in building and fostering strong business relationships
- Passionate about continually improving processes with a customer service attitude while ensuring that data analyses align with organizational goals
- Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to exercise high emotional intelligence while facilitating effective collaboration and understanding
- Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change while staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the data analytics field
Remote work qualifications
- Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
- Access to a home router and modem.
- A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
- A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
- The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.
