Johnson and Johnson is recruiting a Data Security Manager - Information Security & Risk Management (ISRM). This position may be based in J&J office in Raritan, NJ or remote work in the U.S. with the capability to periodically travel into the Raritan, NJ office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of data security strategies and processes to safeguard the organization's critical information and assets.
  • Lead initiatives to identify and inventory critical information and assets.
  • Assist in creation and execution of data governance forums and the implementation of new data security capabilities.
  • Conduct regular assessments of data security systems and processes to identify weaknesses, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, HR and other partners to design and implement data security controls and processes
  • Stay up to date with emerging data security threats, trends, and technologies, and provide recommendations to senior management for proactive risk mitigation.
  • Act as a domain expert for the development and deployment of comprehensive data security training and awareness programs
  • Compile and analyze data security metrics, generate reports, and present findings to senior management and partners.
  • Support communications and change management efforts related to the introduction of new data security capabilities.
  • Work closely with other J&J teams to support a coordinated approach for protection of High Value Assets, including Business Partners, Technology Services, and other ISRM teams.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.


Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Certifications in cybersecurity (CISM, CISSP), audit (CISA) or risk management (CRISC) are preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in roles within IT Security management and/or IT.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in one of more aspects of data security (governance, deployment of data security measures, data labeling, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of information security processes and principles is preferred in explaining the business value of cybersecurity.
  • Experience in assessing current security threats, mitigation measures and security vendors/technologies is required.
  • Formal training and experience in developing or supporting a large-scale Data Security and High Value Asset program is preferred.
  • Experience in performing Data Security and/or High Value Asset project is preferred.
  • Previous experience developing effective and strong partnerships along with relationship building skills with IT and business partners is required.
  • Results Orientation - ability to drive to tight timelines is required.
  • Superb communication and collaboration skills, able to network and influence at all levels of the organization, cross sector, multi-functionally and globally is required.
  • Proven ability to influence/collaborate to get the desired result is required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $99,000- $170,200 USD

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
