We are seeking two skilled Data Support Technicians to support an ongoing system upgrade project to SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidates will assist with data migration from legacy systems, including Maximo and M3, to SAP. This role involves close collaboration with site leads to ensure the accurate entry and migration of plant-specific data across various categories such as Work Centers, Materials and Equipment.

Data Support Technician Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with site leads to enter and correct Maximo data in the Syniti ADMM tool in preparation for SAP cutover
  • Organize, clean up and standardize plant-specific data to ensure seamless integration and functionality within the new SAP system
  • Align local data with standardized naming conventions and lead data mapping efforts for the migration process
  • Participate in data migration meetings to understand business requirements and ensure successful execution
  • Manage data transfer from Maximo to third-party software and SAP, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the systems
  • Support the transition of data from M3 (San Francisco plant) to SAP
  • Assist with data cleanup and reorganization efforts to ensure all data is properly formatted and compatible with SAP S/4HANA
  • Ensure compliance with organizational data management standards and project guidelines

Data Support Technician Requirements:
  • Proven experience with data migration, preferably from one CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to another
  • Familiarity with data management processes, including data cleanup, standardization and manipulation
  • Understanding of CMMS and their key functionalities, such as Work Order Management, Preventative Maintenance, Asset Management and Inventory Management
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • One position requires fluency in Spanish to collaborate with Mexico-based plants
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration and management preferred
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders and teams
  • Previous experience with Maximo or M3 systems is a plus
  • One position will primarily support Chicago-based plants, working onsite 5 days a week
  • The second position will be based in Chicago and support Mexico-based plants (3 days a week) and the San Francisco plant (1 day a week)
