In this position, you will provide technical support for PAPI P&P Service, Process Automation Process Industries (PAPI) in Cottonton, Alabama, delivering superior, professional service, remotely (within 1 hour of location) or on site.

As a Resident DCS (Distributed Control System) Service Technician you will be required to work independently and as part of a team based on customer/contract requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

o High School Diploma and 10+ years of related hands on troubleshooting industrial equipment experience with controls/networking communication experience for equipment
o OR Associates/Bachelor's Degree in field relating to instrumentation & control, electrical or electronics engineering, instrumentation or process control with 5+ years of troubleshooting industrial equipment with controls/networking communication experience
o OR military experience with Electrical or Electronics knowledge and ability to read diagrams, blueprints, and troubleshoot electrical and electronics equipment/components
o Controls/Process Controls, PLCs, or HMI programming and troubleshooting experience
o DCS programming and troubleshooting experience
o Candidates must be comfortable using electrical test equipment such as voltmeters or multi-meters safely as well as other basic hand tools
o Hands on troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude/knowledge
o Must be comfortable working in a "on-call" rotating schedule with other members of the site team ("on-call hours will be compensated for)
