As a Deployment Management Coordinator for the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES) program, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Deployment Coordinator who works on behalf of the Change and Release Manager and with the Release Coordinator to manage the deployment of Software, Systems, and Infrastructure products into the production environment. Additional efforts include providing guidance and expertise to support technicians completing project work and briefing the customer.

HOW AN DEPLOYMENT COORDINATOR ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
  • Maintain oversight of Release Management queue to ensure completed releases are transferred and scheduled for deployment in a timely manner
  • Ensure completed releases have the proper technical documentation, developed business case (as required), and key performance indicators as appropriate prior to deployment
  • Coordinate activities between stakeholder, technical team, functional leads, Directors to ensure all deployment efforts are understood, and being accomplished with high quality
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders to ensure clear, accurate and timely communications
  • Manage risks and resolve issues that affect the deployment scope, schedule and quality
  • Maintain an accurate deployment schedule, providing visibility of all concurrent activities, approved Change Requests, and ensure releases align with business priorities and objectives
  • Ensure all deployment activities are thoroughly documented and participate in transition related activities with the release coordinator, providing insight and expertise as needed for a successful deployment
  • Validate all required actions have been accomplished and that the necessary updates and documentation have been provided in the release record for the appropriate phase of the release cycle
  • Participate in initiating or facilitating process improvements relating to product deployments
  • Help to maintain a release repository and manage important information to include deployment procedures, dependencies, notification lists, and other related data.
  • Provide Regular feedback to the Release and Deployment manager with the current statuses of approved deployment activities to include schedule, progress, and recent updates of releases.
  • Assist Major Incident Manager and Problem Manager with restoration efforts of systems negatively impacted by deployment failures.
  • Support the Release and Deployment Manager as required in support of IT Service Delivery.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Broad understanding of Information Technology principles, tools, and equipment
  • Ability to work in a faced paced environment under pressure

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in business administration or a related field of study - preferred
Certifications
  • ITIL 4 - highly desired
  • SCRUM Master (CSM/PSM) - highly desired
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - highly desired
Experience:
  • 7+ years of related experience in IT Service Management(ITSM)
  • Experience w/ServiceNow
  • Considerable experience in Project Management, IT Change Management, or a related field
  • Good record-keeping and organizational skills
  • Computer Literacy - MS Office suite of products
Security Clearance:
  • Secret clearance required withability to obtain Top Secret / SCI.

The likely salary range for this position is $92,331 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
