Materials Management Coordinator - Operating Room

Responsible for the procurement, receiving and support aspects of supplies within the surgery centers. Responsibilities include: placing orders into PeopleSoft Supply Chain system requesting supplies needed for the centers, placing the orders with the vendors for the supplies, and receiving the supplies into the Supply Chain system. Will help implement and design set proper par levels for supply maintenance for the surgery centers and ensure the centers have supplies for all procedures. Will work with physicians for specialty requests and submit new requests through the Value Analysis Team. Will meet with vendors as needed for additional support.

Qualifications

Education: High School graduate, GED or 3 years relevant experience

Experience: Entry level position. Knowledge of medical / surgical supplies and equipment.
