Description
The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) will serve as the primary liaison between the Contractor and the Government, providing essential support to the Program Manager (PM) in overseeing all contractor personnel assigned to the task order. The DPM will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of the contract, addressing technical issues, and optimizing business processes. This position will be hybrid remote and will require some onsite work in Washington DC.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collaborate closely with the PM to provide leadership and guidance to all contractor personnel.
- Assist in managing the overall responsibility for the contract's quality and efficiency, encompassing technical matters and business processes.
- Aid in task assignments, supervise ongoing technical efforts, and oversee the overall performance management of the requirement.
- Have the authority to make decisions and commitments on behalf of the Contractor's organization in response to Government issues or concerns.
- Maintain readiness to address Government questions, concerns, and comments promptly.
- Proactively identify and communicate potential contractual or programmatic issues to the Government.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred and 15 years of total experience, or a Masters and 13 or a PhD and 10
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing and controlling complex information systems architectures involving multiple disparate databases, network, and communications subsystems.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience overseeing complex information technology operating environments with a workforce of at least 50 individuals from various job categories and skills.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and supporting integrated management plans and schedules.
- Proficiency in managing both on-premise and off-premise service-oriented and cloud requirements, including SLAs and metrics, on contracts of similar size and scope.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex projects effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of information technology systems and architectures
- Demonstrated Experience in management and support of a Scaled Agile Framework Program
- Certified SAFe Architect certification
- Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance
