Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join their team. As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be part of the IT Department supporting the Technical Support Team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization. Spanish speaking skills are preferred to have, enhancing support capabilities across diverse user groups.

Job Title: Desktop Support Technician (Bilingual Spanish)
Location: Fremont, CA (5 Days Onsite)
Pay Range: $36/HR
Contract: 6-Month Contract

What's the Job?
  • Diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems associated with application software, networking, and operating systems.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple open cases at one time.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other computer and telecommunications equipment.
  • Install and configure software and hardware components, and ensure internet security and data privacy.
  • Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction.
    What's Needed?
  • Proven experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience in hardware and software troubleshooting, including laptops and desktops.
  • Strong understanding of network configurations, Active Directory, and IT security protocols.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; Bilingual Spanish preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a desktop support role with a high school diploma or equivalent; further certifications in IT are a plus.
