Desktop Support Technician

A leading hospital system based out of NYC is seeking a deployment technician. This person will be supporting the call center build out and will be responsible for the following:
Setting Up Computers: Desktop support technicians work with u to set up desktop and laptop computers. They install company software and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Network Maintenance: They evaluate and test existing networks and systems, performing regular maintenance to ensure all systems operate correctly.
Troubleshooting: When issues arise, they troubleshoot problems related to internet systems, local area networks (LANs), VoIP telephones, and Wide Area Networks (WANs).
Vendor Coordination: They use communication skills to coordinate with vendors, resolving technical issues with equipment and software.
Receiving Equipment: Deployment technicians receive equipment and racks on the dock, completing all inbound quality checks.
Installation and Configuration: They install and configure SNMP agents on monitored client devices and set up computers, which may include changing existing equipment like docking stations, power supplies, and video cables.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience supporting hardware and software deployments
Proficiency in computer hardware, Windows operating systems, physical IT infrastructures and Imaging
Ability to lift packages 30-50lbs
Ability to drive to 2-3 different sits all in a 15 minute radius
