Akkodis is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a Direct Hire position with a client based in Orlando, FL.

Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 - *This position is hybrid (Tuesdays & Thursdays onsite)*

DevOps Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Enhance the company's IT infrastructure and security protocols
• Identify manual processes that can be automated
• Consider the organization's entire IT infrastructure when making changes and improvements
• Maintain and improve the company's cloud infrastructure
• Ability to consistently produce high-quality deliverables in a timely cadence
• Team orientation, but ability to deliver independently with good communication skills
• Monitor and maintain multiple environments
• Responsible for the configuration and setup of backups
• General IT support of the team
• Create and deploy CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab
• Handle and maintain AWS / Cloudflare network infrastructure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of software engineering / devops experience
• Automation scripting experience in Node.js
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Github and GitLab
• High familiarity with web-based applications
• Understanding and experience working within Agile methodology process
• Expert at Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies and technologies such as Gitlab CI and Jenkins
• Able to communicate complex ideas in simple to understand terms
• Extensive AWS experience with EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, EBS, EFS Gateway, RDS, etc.
• Experience handling and maintaining Big Data databases. (Scylla)
• Experience with networking (Subnets, IPs, subnets, route tables, etc)
• Linux guru
• Strong understanding of Docker
• Experience using Grafana and Prometheus
• Nginx, PHP and Jenkins experience to support legacy servers.
