Successful candidate has hands-on experience and is deeply familiar with a variety of DevSecOps tools and practices; (Server, Web, Applications, Monitoring Solutions), (SCM, Tools, Branching Strategies, CI/CD), (Lifecycle Management Software, Hardware), (Configuration Management, Hardware, Software) (Database Management, Administration, Design), and (Release, Deployment Management).

Successful candidate has experience managing teams performing in with these tools, or practices, or a daily contributor using these tools or within these practices.

The DevOps Architect collaborates and reports directly to the Client Architecture and Technology Planning Team Lead in the provisioning of service delivery and website/systems reliability and scalability including: Infrastructure provisioning, maintenance, release planning/scheduling, reporting, configuration and build, testing, and deployment of solutions and will be accountable for all aspects of deployment and technical operations including technical project resources (partners/subcontractors or staff), scheduling, risk management, internal and external communications, status reporting, and resource management (internal and partners).

This person must be able to coordinate well between a variety of vendors and technical experts.

Additional responsibilities:

Displays technical leadership and oversight of implementation and deployment planning, system integration, ongoing data validation processes, quality assurance, delivery, operations, and sustainability of technical solutions

Evaluates technological choices (network/hardware related and technology/code related) by querying providers and providing evaluations of each solution include ROI evaluations in the present and future implications, limitations, and opportunities

Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of developers, product owners, and subject matter expert

8+ Years - Strong background in application design and development in multi-tiered environment. 

Can understand the application architecture, interfaces between various systems, performance implications to be able to implement a proper DevOps environment that can be scaled

8+ Years - Requires a minimum of 10+ years of equal experience and responsibilities in delivering

enterprise-class, mission-critical, commercial, and scalable products, with at least 5 in which you lead the effort as a hands-on DevOps engineer

8+ Years - Experience with implementing build processes across multiple development teams using a range of heterogeneous, open source and proprietary technologies

8+ Years - Experience with implementing build processes across multiple development teams using a range of heterogeneous, open source and proprietary technologies

8+ Years - Experience in AWS, GCP and/or other cloud technologies.

Certification preferred

8+ Years - Experience with OpenShift, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, Kafka, Checkmarx, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, Nexus, cloud fabrics, Pivotal, Kubernetes, Docker, Vault

Primary Skills:
