EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
  • Bachelor's degree in digital media, marketing, communications, business, or a related field

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Three (3) or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.

FUNCTIONS:
  • Develop and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Coordinate the creation of digital content (e.g., website, blogs, press releases and podcasts).
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
  • Work with marketing team to ensure content is informative and appealing.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news).
  • Manage and oversee social media content and accounts.
  • Manage end-to-end digital projects.
  • Monitor ROI and KPIs for the success of social media content and campaigns.
  • Use various social media tools, including Meltwater.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
  • Design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals.
  • Liaise with Marketing, Sales and Communication teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
  • Oversee social media accounts' design (i.e., Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout).
  • Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.


PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Hands on experience in content management
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Familiarity with web design
  • Experience working with content management systems such as Meltwater and Marketo
  • Proficient with media editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • BS/BA degree in digital media, marketing, or relevant field
