EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor's degree in digital media, marketing, communications, business, or a related field
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Three (3) or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
- Coordinate the creation of digital content (e.g., website, blogs, press releases and podcasts).
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
- Work with marketing team to ensure content is informative and appealing.
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news).
- Manage and oversee social media content and accounts.
- Manage end-to-end digital projects.
- Monitor ROI and KPIs for the success of social media content and campaigns.
- Use various social media tools, including Meltwater.
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
- Design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals.
- Liaise with Marketing, Sales and Communication teams to ensure brand consistency.
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
- Oversee social media accounts' design (i.e., Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout).
- Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Hands on experience in content management
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Familiarity with web design
- Experience working with content management systems such as Meltwater and Marketo
- Proficient with media editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and multitasking skills
- BS/BA degree in digital media, marketing, or relevant field
