SAIC is seeking a Capture Management leader to focus on growth and capture initiatives within the Space and Intelligence Business Group. This position will support the VP, National Intelligence Business Development and Strategy and is aligned to the VP for the National Intelligence Account .The Capture Manager is responsible for directing and managing one (1) to three (3) pursuits, assuming primary ownership and accountability for the proposed solution maturation through the Corporate Business Development and Capture Management Processes to include strategy development, competitive assessments, teaming and price to win strategies for compliant and compelling offer development and proposals. The individual performing in this position leads all SAIC efforts related to Enterprise and Mission IT systems integration within the Intelligence community.

The candidate is responsible for managing and mentoring a team in the development and execution of winning capture strategies. This position overseas the development of capture-related elements to include gap analyses, competitive assessments, discriminators, key win themes, price to win, and overall win strategy/value proposition. The Director, Capture Management guides the team's development of external teaming arrangements and team partner roles to include identifying, selecting, and recruiting teammates, subcontractors, and suppliers. Additional responsibilities encompass staffing the core capture team, managing the bid and proposal (B&P) budget, and validating win strategies!

Qualifications
  • Must have a current/active TS with SCI / CI Poly eligibility
  • 15 years + experience
  • BS Degree required
  • Track record of winning contracts within the IC
  • Demonstrated experience capturing and winning opportunities from early in the business development/acquisition cycle through contract award
  • Strong knowledge of industry participants providing the customer with solutions and high-end services support
  • Proven ability to evaluate teammates and partners
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with all levels of company and customer management
  • Strong analytic, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage complex, matrixed teams populated from the business unit, sector, and enterprise
  • Ability to gain internal support and to operate independently without supervision
  • Ability to establish working relationships with customers, industry partners, technical personnel, managers and peers
  • Demonstrated effective and efficient use of capture and proposal resources
  • Demonstrated performance conducting various color reviews
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with highly technical opportunities, small and large
  • Current TS/ SCI with CI/ FS polygraph
  • Master's degree in related field
  • Experience managing a team of direct reports

Target salary range: More than $225,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
