Description

Directs the day-to- day financial and logistical operations of the Law Center global and graduate programs. This includes overall program management, prospective and current student counseling, strategic marketing, student recruitment, student programming, and statistical reporting and database management.
  1. Manages daily office logistics and operations, including developing strategies and procedures for meeting program objectives, managing program budget and supervising staff.
  2. Manages all associated program web pages and printed publications, which includes but not limited to recruitment information, program information, and student handbook.
  3. Provides leadership and coordination of LLM recruitment, to include guidance and counseling to prospective, admitted, and denied students.
  4. Manages and organizes program orientation and graduation for all global and graduate programs.
  5. Reviews and recommends actions on a variety of graduate student academic petitions, withdrawals, international student processing, and special admission requests.
  6. Assists Executive Director with development and implementation of new policy initiatives related to the LLM program.
  7. Develops and implements a marketing plan for the program. This includes print, online and social media.
  8. Plans and organizes strategic programming for LL.M. recruitment projects and events.
  9. Analyzes program trends and prepares statistical reports for internal and external use.
  10. Manages the program for Visiting International Scholars and the Law Center exchange programs. This includes both incoming and outgoing Scholars and students. Works closely with ISSO to ensure compliance with all U.S. government regulations. Administers LL.M. scholarship and fellowship programs; distributes award information; receives and maintains nominations; notifies recipients and non-recipients. Designs survey instruments and coordinates the collection of data; compiles information, analyzes results, and disseminates findings through reports, presentations and meetings. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelors and 5 years experience

Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Graduate degree preferred. Experience: Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience.
