Pay: $150-175K (depending on experience) PLUS bonus

Austin, TX - 2 days remote

We are working with a client that needs to hire a Director of Infrastructure and Cloud . This person will have 10 direct reports. The ideal candidate will need to be a strong communicator, proven leader, and have the ability to travel. This person will oversee all aspects of our infrastructure, cloud VM environments, disaster recovery, architecture resiliency and focus on automation to innovate and enhance infrastructure systems. They will oversee implementation of architectural planning, strategic planning, and cost management. This individual will be responsible for managing the company's infrastructure and ensuring all system requirements are met. This leader will need to manage his team to meet project scopes and deadlines.

Essential Functions:
• Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Admin and Microsoft Security REQUIRED
• Extensive working knowledge of supporting, maintaining, and administering Microsoft operating systems, including Active Directory and all versions of Windows Servers.
• Extensive experience developing SD-WAN/VeloCloud.
• Working knowledge of Virtualization Environments (VMware, Cisco Hyperflex)
• Exceptional organizational skills, technical expertise, and financial acumen, you will effectively coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and business users to ensure successful project implementations and on-going operations.
• Design and implement technical strategy and standards designed by, architecture, and own the technology roadmap for IT infrastructure.
• Manage the build-out; evolution; and operational support of enterprise network, voice & telecom solutions. Responsible for all operations and growth related to communications & transport mechanisms via LAN, WAN & Wireless, Network, Voice, Video, Unified Computing and Contact Center technologies systems via Cisco Meraki & Dell network solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in infrastructure data engineering to drive innovation and efficiency

Qualifications:
• 8+ IT infrastructure management, with a focus on network architecture, cloud technologies, and system administration.
• 2+ years administering a Microsoft Office 365 tenant account, including Exchange Online and Azure AD.
• Experience executing Azure cloud migration projects must have on-prem to cloud migration experience.
• 3+ years managing a cloud-based infrastructure such as Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• 4+ years working with state-of-the-art, robust infrastructures, and using best practices to design, deploy, and maintain both on-premises and cloud-based systems.
• Bachelor's degree in information systems or 10 years of equivalent experience or certifications can substitute for degree.
• CCNA, CISSP, and ITIL preferred.
• PMP, CISSM, Azure Solutions Architect preferred.
