Southern Tennessee Regional Health System has an opportunity for an Administrator for the Skilled Care Nursing Units in Winchester and Sewanee, Tennessee.

BSN required, Master's degree preferred.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must beable to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Licenses:
Current licensure by the State of Tennessee as a RN
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develops and implements Geri Psych goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical,
administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies,service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality controlobjectives.
Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, andcontinuing education initiatives.
Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates incompliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
Assures quality of care by adhering to established best-practices and standards; measuring health outcomesagainst patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospitaland philosophies and standards of care set by the Tennessee Board of Nursing, and other governing agencies.
