Reporting to the Vice President of Production, the Director of Operations will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day activities at two beverage manufacturing facilities. The position involves managing and optimizing Production and Maintenance operations, collaborating with Winemaking, and actively contributing to the organization's pursuit of continued success.

What will you be doing?
  • Provide hands-on coaching and mentorship to 10+ Production and Maintenance Managers/Supervisors across two beverage manufacturing facilities.
  • Develop and manage the site budgets and monitor the cost of sales.
  • Review, analyze, and improve business procedures in the areas of safety, quality, service, production performance, and people development.
  • Establish metrics, guidelines, and standards for evaluating efficiency and effectiveness. Cultivate a culture determined to elevate the business to a new standard of daily reporting.
  • Ensure safe work environments and conduct relevant team meetings and training.
  • Improve customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes. Coordinate integration efforts among departments for a smoother workflow.
  • Project a positive image of the company to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Partner with other department leaders to identify company-wide issues. Recommend and implement ongoing processes incorporating state-of-the-art technology.
  • Manage compliance, regulatory paperwork, and inspections.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and facility coordination.


Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in the beverage manufacturing industry, including production facility management.
  • Successful track record of leading teams, managing projects, and driving initiatives from concept to commercialization.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of wine industry production processes, warehouse management, and logistics in beverage manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and managerial skills.
  • Proven organizational and analytical abilities for effective problem-solving.
