Position Purpose
The Director, Real Estate Project Management supports the Club Expansion & Real Estate department by leading day-to-day tasks and communication between team members, ensuring the project management framework is organized and runs smoothly. Primary responsibilities will include supporting project management efforts, handling sales and expansion-related administrative duties, analyzing real estate opportunities, maintaining project plans and schedules, identifying and resolving project issues and risks, ensuring internal communication and delivering investor satisfaction.

Based in Tampa, FL, USL Headquarters provides a vibrant and open working environment designed to promote collaboration, the exchange of ideas, and knowledge sharing. We believe in fostering a culture that encourages creativity, communication, and teamwork.
Currently, USL HQ operates on a hybrid work model. From Monday to Thursday, team members gather in person to harness the power of face-to-face collaboration. This not only strengthens the bonds within the team but also enhances communication and innovation. On Fridays, we transition to a remote work setup, providing our team with the flexibility to manage their tasks in an environment of their choosing.
Typical USL HQ hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm ET. Evenings, weekends, occasional holidays, and travel may be necessary based on business demands.

Duties and Responsibilities
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the Club Expansion & Real Estate team by leading day-to-day tasks and communication between team members.
- Manage, coordinate and follow-up on project tasks and develop, maintain and monitor project plans and project schedules.
- Maintain work schedules, organize and participate in stakeholder meetings.
- Ensure project deadlines are met.
- Prepare necessary presentations and other sales materials for meetings.
- Communicate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure everyone is aligned and plans, actions, risks, and issues are understood.
- Conduct market research by analyzing market trends, property values, and demographic data to assess current and future real estate opportunities.
- Evaluate the financial performance of real estate opportunities, including calculating metrics such as return on investment (ROI), net present value (NPV), and internal rate of return (IRR).
- Create detailed reports and presentations that summarize findings, support investment proposals, and communicate key insights to stakeholders such as investors, developers, or company executives.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Assist the team with administrative functions and processes, and ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Collaborate with internal departments to optimize sales efforts to ensure queries and information requests are handled efficiently.
- Administer internal CRM system, process updates of meetings and investor prospect contact points to ensure expansion requirements are met.
- Provide products and services at the highest standard to investor prospects.
- Ensure adherence to USL regulations and policies.
- Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management, administration, sports management or a related field, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience and knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management and/or real estate.
- Professional certification in Project Management or Real Estate field is preferred (e.g. Prince 2, PMI etc.).
- Strong mindset for continuous improvement and meeting or exceeding expectations and able to demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality.
- Superior verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, presentation and time-management skills.
- Solid computer skills and expert proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel is a must.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with department leaders to develop effective marketing strategies.
- Current knowledge of sports industry investment and investment management trends and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with team members, executives, member clubs, and external partners.
- Ability to work independently in a multi-faceted, fast, fluid, and deadline-driven environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic a must.
- Ability to work as business needs require which may include long days, evenings, weekends, occasional holidays, and travel if / when necessary.
- Must have U.S. work authorization.
