The Office of Health Sciences Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (HS-DEI") is searching for a talented individual with a passion for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and training others. The Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Training Specialist is responsible for the coordination, development, facilitation, and evaluation of diversity, equity, and inclusion workshops and training requests of the Office of Health Sciences Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion under the supervision of the Office Director. The Specialist develops and implements trainings and workshops for the six Pitt Health Sciences schools - the School of Medicine, the School of Dental Medicine, the School of Public Health, the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, the School of Pharmacy, and the School of Nursing.

The Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Training Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for individuals and units across the Schools of the Health Sciences, including students, faculty, and staff seeking assistance with direct training services, consultation, or assistance with outside training needs. Additionally, the Specialist will work closely with the office administrative assistant to schedule training and other activities with Health Sciences and University partners. The Specialist may also assist the director with staffing of graduate and undergraduate recruitment fairs.

The Diversity Training Specialist's activities are expected to be carried out with minor supervision. The Diversity Training Specialist must be capable of setting priorities and working under pressure, be able to multi-task and plan several events simultaneously, and work well with internal and external participants.
