A top employer in the mortgage industry is looking for a Document Compliance Analyst to join their team in a fully remote role. This person will be responsible for ensuring compliance with mortgage lending regulations and providing accurate and timely responses to internal customers. This role involves conducting thorough research on federal, state, agency, and investor regulations, as well as collaborating with various departments to maintain compliance standards.

Some essential functions of the Document Compliance Analyst will include but are not limited to:
- Conduct thorough research on federal, state, agency, and investor regulations utilizing proprietary systems, databases, and online resources to ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to internal Document Compliance procedures and provide support to branches by delivering timely and accurate assistance - Zendesk ticketing system.
- Address and resolve compliance-related issues, offering solutions and escalating matters outside of standard procedures as necessary to senior analysts or management.
- Monitor compliance through post-close audits, reviewing results for non-compliance issues, and ensuring that application disclosures meet TILA and ECOA deadlines.
- Engage in project work that involves internal system updates and testing, collaborating with different departments to validate compliance and optimize processes.
- Provide administrative support, including gathering required documentation from external and internal vendor databases, and communicate with vendors regarding change management needs.

SHIFT/SCHEDULE:
- Fully remote
- Must be flexible to work Pacific Time Zone
- Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm PST

PAY EXPECTATION: $24/hr - $31.25/hr (based on experience)

Required Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1+ year experience within the mortgage industry and knowledge of the overall consumer mortgage lending process (loan inception through closing)
- Strong customer service skills, problem solving experience, and computer aptitude

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Mortgage compliance background (other applicable roles include: LOA, loan processor, clo , etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in finance, legal, or other related field
- Zendesk ticketing system experience
- Experience managing multiple projects at once
