Volt is immediately hiring Electrical Engineer II in Lafayette CO.

As Electrical Engineer II you will:

• The Electrical Engineer II will engage in a broad range of electrical engineering research, development, and support as a member of a diverse, cross-functional team.
• They will expand their skillset as they gain experience developing next generation satellite electronics as part of our world class electrical engineering team!

This is a 12 Month full time Contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Required Experience:

• BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Computer Engineering
• 4+ years of hardware design experience. Advanced academic degrees, internship or research experience may count toward the required experience
• Strong ability to communicate with other engineers, management, and external customers over both written and verbal communication channels.
• Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of electrical engineering.
• Familiarity with at least one schematic capture/layout tool and at least one spice-based simulation tool.
• Expertise in one or more technical areas: power electronics/power conversion, analog design, sensors design and interface, electromechanical systems, digital design, FPGA design, automated test development, EMI/EMC, PCB design/manufacture, or other relevant area.
• Experience designing for harsh or mission critical environments including one of aerospace, automotive, aviation, medical or naval.
• Experience designing to industry standards (such as EMI/EMC).

Pay Rate: $50.00 - $53.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
