Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer in the Greater Lafayette area. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: define, review and critique engineering processes, technical decision-making processes and technical development across various space systems disciplines, provide mentorship and guidance to junior EE team members, guide electrical engineering processes and facilitate technical trades across the system, design, test and fly electrical and avionics systems across tankers, docking hardware, and spacecraft fill/drain components, circuit/board design, rapid prototyping for test, EEE parts and/or radiation parts analysis, design electronics mission lifetime and architecture, hardware in the loop (HWIL) testing and participate in the development of systems engineering products, spacecraft architecture, trade studies, requirements development, verification, and validation plans.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years' experience in spacecraft electronics design, development, and/or testing across multiple flight projects/programs

Strong experience with Altium

Strong experience with LTSpice

Extensive experience designing high level, complex circuit boards and control boards

Space Systems or Power Electronics background

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Understanding of space radiation effects

Strong experience with Matlab, C/C++ and/or Python
