The Electrical Engineer at Aqua-Chem will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location: On-site; Knoxville, TN
Pay Range: Dependent on Experience

Essential Duties:

• Assists in preparing electrical diagrams, panel drawings, electrical installation drawings, and functional diagrams as well as incorporating changes to drawings.
• Work and assist technicians, project engineers, project managers, and aftermarket sales with electrical design, calculations, and hardware specification.
• Provides customer support, verifying that design and installation conform to customer requirements.
• Attending company meetings and kick-off meetings.
• Handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and to effectively interface with others inside and outside the engineering department.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited school.
• Five (5) years' experience in related electrical design
• AutoCAD software experience
• In depth knowledge of UL, CE, and IEC standards.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills working within teams
• Able to work overtime as needed
