Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer for the Avionics team at a commercial space client in Webster, TX. This person will be the expert over EMI (electromagnetic interference) and EMC (electromagnetic compatibility), working with the Avionics team to ensure that products are meeting MIL-STD-461 standards through planning and test protocols.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in engineering or science

Experience working with electromagnetic compatibility or electromagnetic interference (EMI/EMC) requirements, compliance, design, and/or testing per MIL-STD-461 standard or other military, fabrication, or manufacturing standards

EMI/EMC test planning and execution activities.

Hands-on experience with standard EMI/EMC laboratory test equipment - i.e. Spectrum Analyzers, Radiofrequency (RF) Amplifiers, Signal Generators, EMI Receivers, Antennas, Couplers, Power Meters

Experience translating EMI/EMC requirements, design, and test results to senior management and supporting program engineering staff.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with NASA spaceflight programs desired, or related experience in testing spacecraft, spacesuits, space vehicles, components, or systems.

Experience with spaceflight hardware design and test development
