Job Summary
The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is a sex offense specific treatment program in a modified therapeutic community and secure setting that provides comprehensive services to 740 civilly committed clients. Services include sex offense specific treatment, education programming, therapeutic recreation, vocational programming, and volunteer services.
The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is seeking an individual to join our team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as an Electronic Document Management Specialist for our St. Peter, location. The Electronic Document Management Specialist works as part of a team performing the essential duties of scanning, indexing, and verifying Minnesota Sex Offender Program documents for the electronic records systems and redacting information that should not be released under the Government Data Practices Act. The Electronic Document Management Specialist ensures the efficient operation of the program by processing a variety of work utilizing multiple computer systems, databases, and electronic document management systems.

The Electronic Document Management Specialist ensures the efficient operation of the program by processing a variety of work utilizing multiple computer systems, databases, and electronic document management systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Receiving, retrieving, scanning, and processing documents from various departments to input into the appropriate electronic storage source.
- Timely communicating information regarding imagining processes and needs with both internal and external clientele concerning documents, verify ability to share information and identify the status of the document.
- Promotes a positive image of the facility with emphasis on customer service by treating clients, co-workers, and other staff with courtesy and respect.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Skill in customer service sufficient to provide prompt and accurate information to customers in person, on the phone, and through email and other written or electronic correspondence
- Ability to Accurately input, verify, and edit electronic data
- Knowledge of records management systems sufficient to store, categorize, and retrieve electronic files
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Records Management and electronic document management.
- Experience with data systems such as FileNet, Phoenix, Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
