Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer III
Location: US - CA - Sunnyvale (Onsite 3 days)

Summary:

• We are looking for research engineers to assist with the development of internal platforms from the ground up.
• The primary focus of the job is AI/VR.
• Our team is looking for a candidate who is interested in working with softwares, camera systems as well as working with different design flows.
• Embedded Software Engineer, Image Sensor and Tooling Responsibilities:
• Bring up new image sensors in linux or RTOS environments • Build tools for image processing and testing of SW/FW.
• Participate in design reviews of SW/FW and HW.

Must have skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
• Experience in developing device drivers in linux • Proficient in C, C++ and Python • Experience with low level protocols such as I2C, UART, SPi etc
• Proven experience working with cameras, and consumer electronic products.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with MIPI C-PHY/D-PHY interfaces.
• Experience in embedded software development for consumer electronic products.
• Ability to navigate and understand large codebase in C/C++ Some front end experience, javascript, react
