Volt is immediately hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in Monroe, NC for a well-known industry leader. In this role you will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

This is a first shift position.

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will:

• Lead SAP bill of material creation, recipe creation and production version creation for new materials and finished goods launching out of a new product introduction.
• Implement lessons learned and best practices gained from collaboration with the greater manufacturing engineering and product engineering teams.
• Determine priority of material create for ECO's that will be requested at the same time.
• Support material to create process to ensure timely launch of products to meet business timeline for product launch.
• Escalate issues and collaborated closely with engineers, planners, and supervisor
• Perform engineering work related to planning, devising, or adapting methods to improve manufacturing production.

Estimated Duration 24+ months.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree + two (2) years of manufacturing experience (mfg engineering, process engineering or automation) in a private, public, government or military environment.
Or
• Associate degree + five (5) years of manufacturing experience

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of SAP
• Comfortable manipulating data and using macro scripts in MS Excel.
• Able to understand and review drawings, revision changes in BOMs, and recommend action as required.

Pay Rate: $31.00-32.00 hr.
