PURPOSE STATEMENT

We're currently seeking a college student for an engineering internship. The Engineering Intern must be pursuing a degree in automation/controls engineering or related field.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

  • Program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC systems using ladder logic
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits and control loops
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate various types of field instrumentation (i.e. pressure transmitters, RTD's, load cells, etc.) and their interface to the control system
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop automation solutions
  • Conduct system testing and validation
  • Assist with process line improvements/optimization and other special projects as assigned
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members
  • Maintain a good understanding of controls/electronic technology, developments and apply this knowledge in support of a continuous improvement effort


KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with PLC programming
  • Good understanding of automation systems and industrial control networks
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to wire/solder as necessary
  • Ability to read and update electrical drawings, manuals/schematics, P&ID's, and instrumentation lists
  • Must be pursuing a college degree in engineering or a related field

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$17.00 - $32.00
