This position reports to

Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for the project engineering of product sales for System Drives in the United States. You will form and lead a team of design engineers to develop customized electrical drive solutions for manufacturing and deliver accurate project documentation while optimizing costs, quality, on-time delivery and maximizing customer satisfaction. The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion System Drives Division the New Berlin, WI area. You will be mainly accountable to: • Implement scalable business processes and standards to execute efficient project engineering and ensure that deliverables are met on time, as per the set contract, safety and quality requirements. • Collaborate closely with Inside Sales, Product Management, Order Execution, Supply Chain Management, Subcontracting Partners and Production to proactively de-risk the execution of existing and future projects. • Guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies and Company guidelines (knowledge management, functional training, etc.). • Facilitate the sharing of best practices, lead the continuous improvement of existing processes, and foster a data-driven culture. Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and 10 years of related experience with low voltage drives or medium voltage drives
  • Education in mechanical or electrical engineering (preferred).
  • Progressive experience with EPLAN, PTC Creo, PTC Windchill, SAP Production Planning module or equivalent (highly preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a customer-centric, multi-cultural and international environment with standard operating procedures.
  • Proactivity, teamwork skills, continuous improvement mindset, result orientation and ability to work under pressure.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
