This position is within the Division of Facilities Development, Bureau of Capital Budget and Construction Administration. It will be headquartered at the DOA Office Building at 101 E. Wilson Street, Madison, WI 53703.

Position Summary

The Enterprise Program Supervisor position oversees, provides leadership, and works directly with staff responsible for the State Building Program support functions including: the development and administration of construction and design contracts; construction bidding; management of contract payment functions and financial transactions; management of the division's fee billing; construction project administration; provision of the division's project management information system (PMIS) and IT support services; and administration of procurements. This position performs high level financial and contract officer duties in conjunction with staff.

Salary Information

This an exempt position is in schedule-range (81-03) with rate of pay between $36.00 and $43.46 an hour, plus excellent benefits. A 12-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.

Job Details

Due to the nature of the position, DOA will conduct fingerprinting and background checks on applicants prior to selection. DOA does not sponsor work visas. Certain positions within this Department may allow remote/work from home flexibility for a portion of their work schedule, depending on the needs of the position and the work unit. Qualifications

Qualified applicants will have experience in:
  • Construction contract administration (e.g. Managing bid solicitation, reviewing/analyzing, or similar)
  • Implementing policies, rules, or regulations (e.g. enforcing, ensuring compliance, or similar)
Well qualified applicants may have experience in the following :
  • Process improvement and/or performance management
  • Leading a team and/or supervising employees (e.g. hiring, directing the work of other employees, providing performance goals and standards, scheduling, training, counseling employees, etc.)
  • Budget management (e.g. developing a budget, reviewing financial transactions, overseeing payments, or similar)
