Summary

This position is located within the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Operations Division. The incumbent supports the Chief Risk Officer in managing the Bureau's ERM program; and is responsible for the leadership, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor the Bureau's operational and strategic risks.

Responsibilities

As an Enterprise Risk Management Program Manager, you will:
  • Provide on-going thought leadership to shape the Bureau's ERM program; work with CRO and Bureau leadership to define appropriate role of risk management in the organization; and establish and communicate ERM vision across the organization.
  • Establish appropriate ERM framework including risk policies, metrics, reporting and monitoring; and develop ERM tools, practices, and guidance to analyze and report enterprise risks.
  • Integrate risk management with strategic management processes; manage the Bureau's risk appetite to ensure enterprise risks are consistently managed across the Bureau and remain with the Bureau's risk tolerance. Drive the establishment and monitoring of key risk indicators to ensure that Bureau leadership makes risk-informed decisions.
  • Manage risk assessment data gathering process; and be responsible for developing and tracking metrics to monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of risk mitigation controls and activities.
