Volt is immediately hiring for Equipment Technician in Sylmar, CA

Position Type: Full time contract

Duration: 6 months

SHIFT: 3rd (11 PM to 8:30 AM)

As an Equipment Technician you will be:

• Repairs and maintains equipment and demonstrates experience in these areas.
• Executes preventative maintenance plans.
• Performs complex troubleshooting, analysis, inspection, disassembly, rebuild, modification and testing of factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Works with electrical systems and electronic components of complex industrial machinery and equipment, following manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications.
• Responds to and provides guidance related to routine and complex requests for equipment repair.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate)
• Troubleshooting of machines

Pay Range: $28.00 to $31.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
